Geo-dynamic of the Spill-overs. The Franco-Italian Cross Border Model
Abstract
In this article we show the differences and interdependences which exist between geographic and economic borders in the framework of a theoretic analysis between cross border areas. We demonstrate that the border inducing geographical spill over becomes a space of centralisation to the detriment of the centre. The cities situated on one side and on the other border playing a role in this relay. The mathematic modelling founded on the balance economic growth/ sustained economic specialization makes us reconsider the distinction centre/frontier in which the logic centre/periphery gives birth to another logic in which each area reunites centre and frontier aspects at the same time.
