STATIC OUTPUT FEEDBACK CONTROLLER FOR CONTINUOUS-TIME FUZZY SYSTEMS

Abstract

This paper will focus on static output feedback (SOF) control for continuous time Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems. Based on the use of the concept of decay rate in the quadratic Lyapunov function, sufficient conditions for designing fuzzy SOF control are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Moreover, the proposed method overcomes the drawback of the iterative algorithms based on LMI approach, and does not need any equality constraints; in addition, it can provide less conservative results. In the end, numerical and practical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
